Advanced Certified Coder
Qualifications:
Applicant must be AAPC or AHIMA credentialed and have at least one year of experience coding in an acute care facility.
HMI currently has full and part time positions available for coders in the Nashville area.
Temporary/Part time work to be performed on-site at local hospitals to provide assistance with backlog coding of inpatient and outpatient medical records. Responsible for assignment of ICD-9-CM, CPT and HCPCS codes. Flexible work hours days, nights or weekends.
